conscious behaviour of Bythograeidae crabs in the deep sea, around the hydrothermal vents …

I watched a very informative video on youtube by Professor Peter Girguis:

Crabs do have eyes, but their chosen way of communicating seems to be by transmitting acoustic vibrations through their common medium they share (air or water), by drumming, waving their pincers; so, they are social animals (they even fight for girls! ;-)).

Do Bythograeidae exhibit those kinds of behaviours as well?

Have the patterns of communication of crabs, especially Bythograeidae been studied, as it has been done with dolphins? Dolphins even have different “dialects”.

Bythograeidae live in the aphotic depths of the ocean so their eyes must have most probably become vestigial after so many generations throughout millions of years without practical usage or did their eyes evolve into some sort of infrared sensitivity range? Have such matters been studied?

Even if Oxigen and sulphur belong to the same group of the PTE, they differ in important ways which should definitely influence the metabolic processes of the ecosystem Bythograeidae live in:

As part of the ecology under which they live Bythograeidae must have “adapted” to feed/”breathe” primarily or secondarily on the chemical products of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) reactions (not through Adenosine Triphosphate related processes). The human brain consumes approximately 20% of the body’s energy. What is that percentage in the case of Bythograeidae since it is based on energy richer reactions?

Do Bythograeidae exibit patterns of sleep cycles?

I am primarily interested in the “neuro”biology of animal life in the extreme conditions of the hydrothermal vents. Actually, do Bythograeidae have neurons as other crabs do, or just ganglional cells?

I couldn’t find a forum where those matters would be discussed. You certainly know better than me. Where could my questions at least be straightened a bit?
